Environmental Education
Environmental Education is interwoven into the fabric of the Camden Collaborative Initiative. CCI works to improve the connection between Camden residents, businesses, ad schools to local environmental education opportunities.
Environmental Education teaches children and adults how to learn about and investigate their environment, and to make intelligent, informed decisions about how they can take care of it. |
Concern
Camden's industrial past and its current status as the region's waste recycling center has impacted environmental conditions for its residents who are largely poor people of color.
